When your dog is always jumping on your friends when they come over to the house and you can’t find a way to stop it, it could be a symptom of a larger problem.  One reason that dogs seemingly disobey our rules is because we haven’t been clear in what we are asking them to do.

Dogs learn is a manner very similar to ours.  The issues is that we have multiple methods of learning things and have the ability to assimilate and differentiate.  This is not always possible with our dog.  Robin and I have a great and simple article (I just gave away part of the solution) titled “How Do I Stop My Dog from Jumping on My Friends” that will enlighten you and make you a far better dog trainer and dog owner.  Please take a moment to read it today.  You will find the solution amazingly simple.

Keep your rules consistent and your dog will easily learn what you want him to do
