Before we answer your questions, we would like to provide a little clarification regarding some of the terms and programs we will be discussing.
Everyone, whether if you are an individual pet owner who wants to sell Life’s Abundance, Pet Professional, Dog Trainer, or Breeder, must be a Life’s Abundance Field Rep. If you are a Breeder, besides all the benefits of the Field Rep program, you can also receive some additional benefits. We provide Q&A regarding the enhanced benefits for Breeders at the end of our Q&A page.

General Q&A:
How do I sign up to become a Field Representative?
All you need to do is to click here to start the Field Rep Sign-up process. The first page you will see is the Independent Field Rep Introduction Page. Here you are provided some options on how you want to sign up. We suggest that you sign up under the Basic Field Rep Starter Kit.
You will then proceed to the Application Page. You will be asked some questions including some general information about yourself and your preference for your Web Site Name.
You are then sent to a Confirmation Page where you will create your Account Username and Password. You will also provide your payment information on this page.
Congratulations, you are now a Life’s Abundance Field Representative!

Are there special prices for Field Representatives?
Yes.
Both Field Representatives and Breeders will always pay the Autoship price for all their purchases.
Breeders get an extra price break of 10% on the 40 lb All Stage Dog Food and 36 lb All Life Stage Grain Free Dog Food. This price break is delivered by increasing the amount in the bags by 10% without increasing the price of the food.
How much does it cost?
Based on our recommendations, your average monthly cost is appx. $12.62. This includes the one-time charge for your startup, an annual renewal fee, and your monthly web site/back office expense.
What does it take to break even?
Your clients can purchase all sorts of wonderful products that will earn you commissions. To keep it simple, let’s put this in terms of how many bags of dog food to you need to sell on a monthly basis.
- If your clients only have small to medium sized puppies, you will need to sell appx. 10 bags of food a month. (17.6lb bag)
- If your clients have large breed puppies or adult dogs, you need to sell about 5 to 7 bags of food a month. (35-40lb bag)
These are just simple estimates and the number of bags needed could be far less, based on special bonuses.
What are the ingredients and nutritional information of the dog food?
All the information regarding Life’s Abundance Dog Foods can be found on the individual web pages of the individual dog foods. The links for the dry dog foods are listed below. * Note: You should always be purchasing your food via autoship. The food is being sold to you at a discount over retail and you can cancel the autoship at any time without any penalty. Simply put, you can schedule one shipment via the reduced autoship price and cancel all future shipments. At any time in the future, you can order something else on autoship, receive it, and cancel future shipments.
What are the shipping costs*?
Shipping costs $8.85. If you order one bag of dog food or up to about twenty bags of dog food, the shipping cost for the order will remain $8.85.
If you are a large breeder ordering more than twenty bags, you will probably want the “pallet price”. You will need to call Life’s Abundance for details on “pallet shipping”.
If you have a very small order, such as a small bag of treats, the shipping cost could be reduced to $4.95.
Note: Shipping costs are normally calculated and displayed during your order and checkout process.
What Do I Make on a Bag of Dog Food?
I wish I could simply say “You make X% from every bag of dog food you sell”. That is not the case. The commission you earn on selling a bag of dog food is based on your total sales that month along with other incentives you may earn. You can learn more about Life’s Abundance detailed incentive program by reviewing Life’s Abundance Compensation Plan.
But, let’s make it easy. Below is a rough range of what you would make when a client buys a bag of Life’s Abundance Dog Food from you. The high and low numbers are based on your monthly sales volume and it does not include any incentives you may have earned because of your client’s purchase. *
All Life Stage Dog Food 40 lb. Bag:
$1.25 – $5.00
Grain-Free All Life Stage Dog Food 36 lb. Bag:
$1.31 – $5.26
Small & Medium Breed Puppy Food 17.6 lb. Bag:
$0.72 – $2.89
Large Breed Puppy Food 35.3 lb. Bag:
$1.43 – $5.73
Don’t forget that you make commissions from all the other things your clients may purchase. We have used Life’s Abundance shampoo on our dogs for many years; their coats are beautiful and they smell great. Their Turkey & Berry Chewies – Grain Free Treats are also a big winner!

My Vet now tells me not to feed my dog grain free food because it can cause heart disease. How does this impact Life’s Abundance dog foods?
Life’s Abundance has always been keenly aware of the ingredients and nutrients going into their food and the impact on your dog’s health. Robin and I expressly switched to Life’s Abundance after our German Shepherd almost died during the Melamine Pet Food Recall in 2007. We became clearly aware that their mission of guaranteeing the pet’s well-being and health through quality ingredients and balanced recipes was best for us and our dogs.
No Life’s Abundance products (grain or grain free) have been noted in any FDA investigation. They have been proactive in monitoring and analyzing the current situation and have authored an article detailing the issues and their work.

What is the Breeder Program?
This is a great opportunity for Puppy Breeders to receive an extra discount on the food they purchase to feed their puppies. You have the opportunity to purchase special “Breeder Dog Food Bags” that contain approximately 10% more food than the normal bags at no extra charge.
What are the costs and requirements to be part of the Breeder Program?
There are no additional costs to be part of the Breeder Program. There are two requirements:
- You must be a Field Representative.
- You must provide a copy of the latest/current litter registration within 24 months.
Besides the price break for being a Field Representative, are there additional price breaks for Breeders?
Yes.
As we mentioned earlier, both Field Representatives and Breeders will always pay the Autoship price for all their purchases.
