Safety Tips for July 4th

The 4th of July is just over a week away and everyone is starting to get ready.  The fireworks stands are getting set up.  The markets are starting their sales on hot dogs and beer.  People are making plans to meet in the park or to travel to friends’ houses.  The last thing that many people worry about or consider is how their dog is going to respond to a holiday that all American humans always love.

We must remember that the loud noises, flashes in the sky, and different environments can be very stressful to our doggies.  We often think we are helping them when we are really putting them at great risks!
